The creative juices have really been flowing when it comes to baby shower gifts. I have so many friends who are pregnant right now, so im making gift after gift. But it is so much fun to make gifts for these little bundles of joy.

30 30 30
My sister-in-law's birthday is the last day of this month. She is so creative that its always difficult to come up with gifts she hasn't seen or made herself. But I know she wanted a desk organizer like the one I made myself a few months ago. And I made another little goody that I found inspiration for on interest. Its a lollipop bouquet that says "30 sucks". She is going to love it!

Graduation/VBS
I had a project that I needed to try out before I could use it for Vacation Bible School. This year I am in charge of teen crafts, and at first I had no clue what to do. But I scoured the internet to find something both fun and useful and decided that one craft would be a french memory board. I made one for CJ's cousin who just graduated from high school, and it turned out great!! It was so easy to make! And it will not be a very expensive craft to use for VBS!
here is a link to where I got my inspiration:http://www.marthastewart.com/266900/bulletin-board-how-to
Baby Shower Crafts
My best friend Meagan is having a baby boy! And her aunt and I are throwing her a shower. It is rubber ducky themed, and is going to be oh so cute! Here are some things I have been working on for shower decorations and gifts.

I covered these wooden letters I found at Hobby Lobby with some scrapbook paper and and modpodge. They looked great! And Im going to put them on a blue wreath we are hanging as decoration at the shower. I will post more pics of things I have made once they are finished. Still have a few weeks to get them done the shower is June 16th. :)

This is our sweet little Bailee. She is the newest addition to our family, and she is almost four months old. Her favorite activities are tug-of-war and fetch. She knows a few tricks too! She is very smart for her age. She can roll over, sit, shake, and high five! But she only does them for treats. Bailee is a lab and boxer mix, so she is a very active puppy. She is very friendly and loves to meet new dogs and people.
Mother's Day!
Things have been so busy, I havent had time to update. I finished the lovely mother's day bags and filled them with lots of goodies. I made chocolate covered pretzels and popcorn. And I gave my mother and mother-in-law a few of their favorite candies to go along with it. And to top it all off, I created a beautiful coordinating pin that said "happy mothers day". They both LOVED their gifts and were very excited to try the home-made chocolate covered popcorn. My husband and I spent the morning with his mother and the rest of his family at Grandma's house, where we played with the kids and ate lunch. And then we went to my parent's house for a taco salad dinner.

Mothers Day Madness
This week Im working on Mother's day gifts for my mom and mother in law. I bought some medium sized tan canvas bags from Hobby Lobby to place their gifts in. But I decided they needed a little sprucing up. I decided to use my favorite tool (my Silhouette Cameo) to create a vinyl stencil that would be placed on the bag to create an outline for painting. I took some step by step photos...hope you enjoy!!

| This is the image from the Silhouette Studio. I downloaded the frame and added the letter M. |

| I used vinyl because it was much stickier than contact paper, the only downfall is that it wastes alot of vinyl, so make sure you do not use the expensive stuff. |
Next, you place the image onto your bag and slowly remove the transfer tape to make sure that the image transfers without bubbling or peeling up.
Now feel free to paint the image any color you would like. I used acrylic craft paint and it worked great. Make sure you allow the paint plenty of time to dry before removing the vinyl!
I will be filling these beautiful bags with lots of home made goodies for mothers day, stay tuned for whats going inside.
